2000 was the first year MLB Showdown cards were produced. There was a base set and then an update Pennant Run set. There were 4 official promo sets from this year: Diamond Stars, Future Stars, Homerun Hitters, & Pennant Run. Additional promotional/errata sets are included in the dropdown menu.
